Discover the beautifully maintained trails of Simhaksan Mountain, an ideal destination for anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature. One of the best ways to explore the mountain is through the Dullegil, a trail system that allows you to navigate the mountain and its stunning surroundings. The Dullegil is about 7 km in length and typically takes around two hours to complete, making it a manageable hike for those who engage in regular physical activity.

Four Scenic Hiking Routes to the Summit Observatory

Guide to Simhaksan Dullegil and hiking trails

When hiking Simhaksan Mountain, there are four main trails to consider, each leading to the summit observatory. These are: Reservoir-Summit, Sanmaru Garden-Summit, Sutu Rock Parking Lot-Summit, and Seopae-dong Pear Field Entrance-Summit. My personal choice was the popular Reservoir-Summit course, which is a 6 km round trip that takes about two hours, including breaks.

Notably, Simhaksan Mountain's altitude stands at 194 meters, making it a low mountain perfect for leisurely hikes. The trails are well-organized and shaded, providing relief from the intense sunlight.
