Our Previous Caravan Camping Experience
During our last visit, we enjoyed camping in the caravan zone. Caravans offer a fully prepared camping experience, including basic amenities like electricity, water, and toilet facilities, making it a comfortable camping option, especially for families with young children.

Trying Out Rental Camping

Imjingak Rental Camping
This year, as our child has grown a bit, we wanted to have a more nature-oriented camping experience. Since we barely had any camping equipment, we opted for rental camping. The rental camping tents come with all the basic camping necessities, and additional equipment is available for rent if needed.
Fun Times with the Child

Our child enjoyed several rounds of cycling around the campsite. The road encircling the campsite is suitable for children to ride kickboards or bicycles. After an intense playtime at the nearby Nuri Playground and the expansive wetland park, Sipulnuri Park, we returned to our tent as the sun began to set.

We used charcoal and a grill to cook pork neck, chicken skewers, clams, and mushrooms. We also prepared a pot of fish cake soup to warm up the chilly evening.

Cherishing the Warmth of the Campfire

After dinner, we lit a campfire and spent the night staring at the mesmerizing flames. A friend brought a gift for our child and some campfire powder, which added beautiful colors to the fire. Our child eventually fell asleep by the warm fire, reminding us of the precious moments we were spending as a family.
A Morning at the Campsite
The following morning, we had instant noodles for breakfast. The hot ramen cooked with water from the campsite's store added a touch of romance to our camping morning.

Wrapping Up the Camping Experience
As we wrapped up our camping experience, we returned the rented equipment. Although we left the campsite, we were able to keep the warm memories of the time spent around the campfire alive through the pictures we took.
In conclusion, Pyeonghwa Nuri Campsite offers a wholesome and enjoyable camping experience for families, making it a perfect choice for a quick getaway from the city.
